A warm welcome to our summer engagement team!
Summer is here, and we are thrilled to welcome our summer engagement team.
We feel very lucky that Sarah Boutilier has returned to Watershed Watch’s Coquitlam office for the summer to resume her role as Outreach & Engagement Manager. Sarah is very excited to be back and hopes to connect with many people in the community over the summer.
Ellika Cairns joins us this summer as an Outreach & Engagement Assistant in Coquitlam. She is currently completing her undergraduate degree in Environmental Geography at UBC, and is enthusiastic about working with her local community to conserve our natural British Columbian resources. Over the course of the summer, Ellika will organize and attend events for Watershed Watch, coordinate volunteers, and collaborate with other organizations to advocate for the protection of B.C.’s wild Pacific Salmon.
Julie Bull is our summer Outreach & Engagement Assistant in Victoria. She is currently completing her undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Camosun College. Julie has worked for a number of not-for-profits in the Greater Victoria area and is excited to bring her passion for community and the environment to Watershed Watch this summer!
Sophia Lynn is continuing with her role as the Outreach & Engagement Coordinator in Victoria this summer. With her background in marine tourism and her passion for the intricacies of coastal ecosystems, Sophia loves nothing more than to geek out about the beautiful coast we live on. Sophia has loved meeting aspiring conservationists of all ages and is excited to make more connections in Victoria and the surrounding communities.
It is going to be a great season! If you would like to volunteer with Sarah, Sophia, Julie and Ellika this summer, fill out this form and we’ll be in touch soon.
