nikki krietchWe’ve had an absolute blast getting to know Nikki over the past few months. From counting returning chum in Stoney Creek to attending several community events and Wild Salmon Policy meetings, Nikki has been a steadfast volunteer.

This wild salmon lovin’ gal is in her final year of undergraduate studies at Simon Fraser University (go Nikki go!) and has been accepted into SFU’s Resource and Environmental Management masters program. She’ll be spending the upcoming summer interning for Dr. Jonathan Moore and will be focusing her masters research on salmon conservation.

Nikki’s enthusiasm for wild salmon (and life in general) is all kinds of awesome — people always leave our booth with big smiles on their faces when she’s around. We need more people like Nikki in the world and we’re thrilled that she has chosen to volunteer with us. Thank you for all that you do to protect wild salmon, Nikki!
