Join us September 28th for My Watershed Moment – where yoga and conservation meet!
Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Join us for a moment in time by our mighty Fraser River to celebrate, be inspired and put to practice the direct
connections and teachings of yoga.
It is about the holistic conservation of watersheds and a deeper understanding of the intricate connections between human health and the health of the natural world around us.
Bring your own yoga mat or get closer to nature by doing yoga on the grass.
All levels are welcome at this free event, but RSVP.
Please share this event broadly and use the hashtag #MyWatershedMoment as much as possible! Take a picture of yourself doing yoga in nature and share your own “moment” leading up to this event!
Brought to you by Watershed Watch Salmon Society, SFU’s Centre for Sustainable Community Development and local yoga leaders.

I am thinking about attending your event, but need to know the details, such as exactly where it is being held. I know it is at Colony Farm, but I have never been there and would like directions as to how to get there and where the event is. Thank you so much!
Hi Veronica,
From Highway 1, take Exit 44 and follow signs to Lougheed Highway (Hwy 7) east. Continue travelling east on Lougheed Highway to the traffic light at Colony Farm Road. Turn right and continue 1 km to the main parking lot. From the east along Lougheed Highway (Hwy 7) travel through Coquitlam past the lights at Pitt River Road and Riverview Hospital. Turn left at the traffic lights at Colony Farm Road; the parking lot is on your left about 1 km from Hwy 7.
Follow the #MyWatershedMoment road signs south from the Lougheed Highway to the parking lot.
We will meet in the parking lot by the community garden.
