Watershed Watch Executive Director, Craig Orr, expressed his concerns over lack of federal government action on Justice Cohen’s recommendations in the News 1130 article Federal gov’t still reviewing sockeye salmon report.  He said, “It’s left a lot of us scratching our heads, why would we have an inquiry and then just completely chuck it into the garbage? I’m hoping that’s not the case.”

  1. Bob says:

The Gov’t wanted to make it look like they cared and were interested in wild salmon so spent 26 million of tax payers $ then put it on the shelf to gather dust. Never mind cutting DFO budget fire the bunch of them and give BC. the right to look after our own salmon we would do a better job.
