Fish habitat at risk from proposed changes to Fisheries Act (updated)

River HabitatLeaked documents sent to veteran fisheries biologist, Otto Langer, on March 13th revealed that proposed changes to the Fisheries Act pose a significant risk to fish habitat.  Since then, the outcry has been loud and clear in numerous media articles, letters to government, social media posts and online petitions.

You can take action by signing the online petition Keep Protection of Habitat in the Canada Fisheries Act and by contacting your local Member of Parliament.
