Watershed Watch Fisheries Biologist, Stan Proboszcz, discusses concerns over the ISA virus and its link to salmon farming in the Seattle Times letter Canadian practices could lead to spread of salmon virus.  Proboszcz states, “Science shows salmon farms amplify dangerous diseases and parasites and put wild fish at risk. The Canadian government has repeatedly delayed any meaningful action against this industry in the face of countless lawsuits, scientific papers, inquires and demonstrations.”
