Watershed Watch Media Advisory on Craig Orr Testifying on Water, Hydro and Temperature at Cohen

From September 15-16th, evidence related to impacts from hydroelectric development, water management and temperature impacts will be presented to the Cohen Commission of Inquiry into the Decline of Sockeye Salmon in the Fraser River.

Watershed Watch Salmon Society’s Executive Director Dr. Craig Orr will be testifying on September 15th and is available to assist with understanding evidence related to:

  • The importance of instream flows to salmon
  • Groundwater management
  • Thermal impacts on sockeye
  • Impacts from hydroelectric developments
