Water is a huge part of all our lives!  Watershed Watch encourages everyone to visit the Canada Water Week website and find out how you can organize, or get involved in, activities for Canada Water Week March 14 – 22, 2011.  See our Water page to find out more about how Watershed Watch is working to improve the management of water in BC.

The Canada Water Week website reports:

“Canada Water Week is a week-long celebration of water from coast-to-coast-to-coast, starting March 14 and culminating with World Water Day on March 22, 2011. Individuals, organizations and governments across the country are encouraged to get involved by organizing or participating in fun and educational events. Together, we will raise the profile and understanding of water and its importance to Canada’s prosperity.

The Walter & Duncan Gordon Foundation, World Wildlife Fund Canada and Living Lakes Network Canada have partnered to coordinate the organization of Canada Water Week 2011 in collaboration with individuals, governments and organizations across the country.”
