The Vancouver Sun article Run-of-river projects near Harrison Lake rile whitewater kayakers provides an overview of concerns about four proposed run-of-river hydropower projects near Harrison Lake that are currently being reviewed by the provincial environmental assessment office. The article reports that these projects would “destroy some of the best whitewater kayaking routes in southwestern BC.”
