Totem Flyfishers award the 2010 Haig-Brown Conservation Award to Dr. Patricia Gallaugher

The media release SFU’s Dr. Patricia Gallaugher Awarded 2010 Haig-Brown Conservation Award announces that the Totem Flyfishers, Vancouver’s oldest fly fishing club, last night awarded Simon Fraser University’s Dr. Patricia Gallaugher the 2010 Haig-Brown Conservation Award. Dr. Gallaugher, a fish physiologist and conservationist, is the Director of Simon Fraser University’s Centre for Coastal Studies and Continuing Studies in Science programs, and has organized SFU’s successful Speaking for the Salmon Program since 1998.
