To learn more about the largest private run-of-river hydropower project yet proposed, click here to download a file that runs in Google Earth. If you don't have Google earth, you can download the free program at http://earth.google.com. Once you have the Google Earth program, the Bute Inlet data will automatically be loaded into "Places" when you open the file above. Public comment on the terms of reference for this project closes on February 18, 2009! Until then you may give your feedback directly to the BC Environmental Assessment Office.
