Nova Scotia Farmed Salmon to be Destroyed Due to ISA Outbreak
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has ordered the remaining salmon at a Cooke Aquaculture salmon farm in Nova Scotia to be destroyed due to an outbreak of Infectious Salmon Anemia (ISA). The government has also announced that it will compensate Cooke Aquaculture for the losses. See the following articles for more information:
